Sex and Cannabis: Can Cannabis Help with Human Sexuality?

Sexuality is a fundamental part of the lifecycle for most people, and difficulties can lead to loss of self-esteem, depression, anxiety, and interpersonal strife.  Half of men and nearly half of women are troubled by some form of difficulties with sexuality at some point in their life. Difficulties go far beyond erectile dysfunction (ED) in men and low libido in women, and arise in 4 phases:  Interest, Arousal, Orgasm, and Satisfaction.  Interestingly, few people ever address these issues with their care team, despite evidence that three quarters of their providers are willing and able to be helpful. Part of this stems from the assumption by both patients and providers that beyond the phosphodiesterase inhibitors, which work only for ED in men, there is little to be gained from therapeutics.

Cannabis therapy can provide a more effective, cross-gender solution to a broad range of these sexual difficulties. In a largely dose-dependent manner Cannabis has been shown to improve function in all 4 of the domains mentioned above. We will discuss data, clinical scenarios, and practice of treating sexual dysfunction with cannabis.  We will also briefly discuss how Cannabis can be used to improve sexual relations in people for whom dysfunction is not currently a problem.

Alternative Investments for Cannabis Business Owners
So your cannabis business is making you a lot of money, now what? Putting it into the bank is worthless. The bank, if they will even take it, pays practically nothing in interest. You could re-invest back into the cannabis industry, but that’d be breaking a cardinal rule of investing - diversity. All your eggs would be in one basket, the cannabis industry. The Dow Jones and S&P 500 just hit intraday records, you could put your money in the market. But another cardinal rule of investing is to buy low and sell high. And many investors think the stock market is ready for a pullback.

At the end of the day, there are only two asset classes that actually appreciate, and that’s equities (stocks) and real estate. The stock market is tricky business, though. Companies can always issue more stock, diluting the interests of their shareholders. Companies that look like a million bucks today can go out of business tomorrow, leaving you with shares of a worthless company.

Real estate, however, is different. As Mark Twain once said, “Buy land. They’re not making it anymore.” Unless you think we are in for another once in a lifetime real estate collapse, the real estate market is the best way to make long-terms gains and diversify your investments.

In this session, hear how other cannabis entrepreneurs are tackling this problem, and learn what can be done to troubleshoot these issues.

Airbitz, San Diego based Bitcoin Wallet and Security company, has graciously offered to provide some free bitcoin people can import into their wallets. Treating Anxiety and Depression with Cannabis
Both anxiety and depression are common illnesses experienced in some form by most people at some point in their life.  These can be quite debilitating and can rob people of their quality of life. Current conventional approaches to anxiety and depression, which include medication and various approaches to therapy, can be quite successful.  However, for many people these modalities are not enough, or provoke side effects that are not well tolerated. Cannabis can help!

We will discuss Cannabis as an alternative and as an adjunct to conventional approaches. We will explore what symptoms and illnesses Cannabis is useful for and what it is not so good for.  We will look at why Cannabis works, how to use it best, how dosing and timing are crucial for success.  We will examine strains and CBD, delivery mechanisms, and general how-to.

This discussion will focus on the history of hemp, how the end of prohibition is opening up opportunities for hemp farmers, and how hemp can start to begin to heal the Earth.
