Director of Media Operations
Lance’s passion of the industry can be tied to his upbringing in Northern California. He was a criminal justice major in college, and is a proud cancer survivor of 13yrs. He is also an advocate of any safe alternatives to what has become extreme western medicine practices of today.

Over the past 11+ years of Lance’s career he has worked in the digital space for both tech companies, and top media publishers. This includes; Autotrader.com, Carfax.com, Scripps Media, and Digital First Media. His career shifted his knowledge and expertise to the cannabis space after being asked to join DFM’s flagship property The Denver Post in late 2013. During his position as Director of Digital Ad Operations, and later as GM of The Cannabist, he was a large part of what The Cannabist news site has become today.

After negotiating a partnership between The Cannabist and Weedmaps, he was approached by GMG to come onboard as Director of Media Operations. This position includes focus on media for the group’s top three brands; Weedmaps, Marijuana.com, and Cannabis.com. He works internally to deliver on key business initiatives that maximize company revenue and performance around all published media.
