Casey Rivero is the Lead Cultivation Manager at Yerba Buena, just outside Portland, Oregon and among the first eight recreationally licensed cannabis businesses in Oregon. Casey is the mastermind behind Yerba Buena’s impressive cultivation facility which has been called the most state-of-the-art in Oregon by multiple regulators and leaders in the industry, and dubbed the “Cadillac of Grows” by the OLCC.

Prior to his move to the Pacific Northwest, Casey developed a diverse background in cultivation and facility design. With nearly 20 years of cultivation experience in a variety of situations, Casey has fine-tuned the art of growing cannabis. He owned and operated a facility design company in Arizona that created custom grow environments for aspiring growers and has designed, built and implemented everything from small indoor medical grows to large commercial warehouse facilities to light-deprivation greenhouse grow systems.

Casey values sustainability and innovation in his designs and is consistently dedicated to further developing cultivation technology and pushing forward the capabilities and best practices of the cannabis industry.
